Mark

[sorry to disappoint you but I'm not involved with any guy called Mark...]

Tonight I had my last bible study with Ant. We've been looking at the book of Mark for the WHOLE year. It has been really awesome actually. I totally recommend reading a book of the bible in depth and not rushing through it. Looking at it in depth and questioning it and pondering over it and stuff has beenn really good. I've learned alot.

For tonight's study we looked at the death and resurrection of Jesus. It was a really good ending for the year. Just reflecting on how God's plan was working through the whole time and why certain things happened (Why Jesus told people not to tell others of his miracles, why Jesus stayed silent when people accused him, etc).

If you are not sure if you wanna read Mark for yourself, let me give you a lil summary of the book (or the Big Idea if you wanna call it that):
-It is a story of reconcilliation between us and God.
-It shows us how Jesus persevered so that we could have a relationship with God.

It's very exciting. Check it out!

Gracie's 21st

Last night was Gracie's 21st party. I had an awesome time. The theme was "semi formal with a touch of high society." It was good because everyone dressed up properly. I bought this silk top for it and I'm quite happy with my purchase. I also wore my elbow length black gloves. The speeches were funny too (21 guys Gracie... OMGosh! kekeke).
Danced (kinda) for a little while... the music what I would normally dance to so... yeah. It was good to hang out with people and talk.
Then when the restaurant owners kicked us out at 12, we stood outside the restaurant in the dark talking. That was funny. Amusing comment...

Heather: What's that saying again? All is fair...?
Renee: All is fair in love and war.
Heather: But it's so NOT fair.

hahahahahaHAHAHAHA!!!!

Then Gracie invited us to her house... where we drank hot chocolate and listened to all the cd's that people gave her. There was a pretty good one by a band called "Iron and Wine." None of us had heard it before but it was quite nice. We then watched her open all her other presents. She is so cute!~

So in the end I got home at 3.30. Woke up at 10.30 today. So a pretty good 7hr sleep in the end. Then at about 11, Jen called me and reminded me that I had bible study at CTHS... luckily we were having a party so I just grabbed a bag of chips and picked up Jen. We played random drama games. Still fun hanging out. I think I'm gonna miss them a bit in the holidays.

Tonight at switch we are having a formal which will be awesome!!! I'm gonna wear my yr 10 formal dress and there will be a roast dinner and tealight candles and fun games. I'm looking forward to it!

I must must MUST put up photos later. (Cler... give me photos!)

day-ness

Today was a very eventful day.

I woke up at 8am... then thought to myself... omygoolies! It's 8am. So I went back to sleep and I woke up somewhere between 9-10am. I can't remember... It was like 12 hours ago.
Then I fed my dogs... ate breaky and sat around wondering what thing on my to do list I should do first... my to do list:
-tell Ant how to get a refund from kcc
-tell Cler what Jonah 3-4 is all about.
In the end... I did something that wasn't actually on my to do list, but should have been. I put up the Christmas tree... such a chore! The fake tree bits are so sharp and scratchy and bad for my hands. And then I put up the mismatch which is our decorations collection. Then I went to look for the Christmas tree lights... normally we have two sets of lights that we use... but only one was found (I don't know where the other lights could be... they should be in their box... but the box was empty... scary!). So I made do with the one set.. It only covered half of the tree... so I took them off. Then I admired the Christmas lights on the deck... ahh!!!

By that time... it was lunch... and I had a nice salad roll. yum!

After that... umm... err... well that was like 8 hours ago and I can't remember.
Before I knew it... my parents went out for dinner with friends and I was home alone... I was gonna invite ppl over but no one was online to invite. So I made fried rice... It was very very tasty... Here is my recipe:
1. put oil in a hot wok
2. crack an egg into pan and fry it... and while it is frying... stir around so you don't have one giant egg in your rice
3. add a handful of diced bacon, diced carrot and frozen peas. stir around until you feel like stopping
4. add in left over rice... as much as you can eat (it's best if the rice is made the day before hand... otherwise it doesn't taste as good)
5. stir it all around until you feel like eating it. then.. before eating it... add a splash of soya sauce into the pan... and stir until all the rice and goodness is tanned.
6. eat it from a bowl!!!

so there you have it. then I watched the double episode of gilmore girls, showered, watched random movie and now I am here. How do you do?

ahhh!!!

I passed all my subjects! In fact... I got 2 CR and 2 DN which I am quite happy about. But I did worse than first semester which is a big poo bum!
I also cut my hair... it feels good. It's short and bouncy and light. ahhh......

Tonight at switch we talked about heaven and how no one really deserves to go to heaven... but hope is not lost! God reconciles himself to us in Jesus' death... Ahhh!!! YAY!

Today I got a tour of CTHS... It is quite a big school... full of blocks... I like PHHS better... more fun places to sit. Go PENNO!!!

So... who reads this blog now anyways?

I love my vegies

I borrowed the vegietale dvd "a snoodle's tale" from my church library and in the extras they taught you how to draw the characters.
The first pic is of Dr. Jiggle, he wants to dance and groove... but he thinks that he can only jiggle... but the truth is that people like how he jiggles. The second pic is of Mr. Sly.... which is really Dr. Jiggle in disguise. Everyone thinks he is really good at dancing and grooving... but the people prefer to have Dr. Jiggle as his true self.

The third pic is of Snoodle Doo. After being mocked and bullied for being small... he goes on a journey to find out the meaning of life... so sweet!

Even though vegietales is supposed to be a kids show... it explains really well bible stories and give them meaning that people of all ages can understand. I recommend "A Snoodle's Tale."

And if you are too good for vegietales... read the bible! It's even better!

Lazy Bum

Hello there all...

I've been a real lazy bum lately... which has it's ups and downs... lets start with the ups:
1) I can sleep in
2) I can just sit in bed and do my quiet times
3) I have time to prepare bible studies
4) I've been re-reading Harry Potter (which is so weird because I usually hate reading)
5) I can chat on the net
6) I can practice my violin every day
7) I can play with my dogs

now the downs:
1) I'm so poor it hurts
2) Must get money off people for KYLC
3) Need to rest my square-eyes

Hmm... by the looks of it... I'm not really being a lazy bum... I'm actually doing quite a lot. But then again... I'm probably missing some of the downs. Look on the positive side eh!

uni is over

It's hard to believe but my first year of uni is finished. It has been quite a good year. I haven't failed anything yet (not that I know of yet) and I've made some good friends. One thing that I regret is not getting involved with the CBS public talks but I did like getting to know other christians in bible study groups. Now with uni over... my life is pointless... just sitting around doing nothing. I plan to catch up on my quiet times and preparing bible studies earlier.
I've also been updating my resumé and applying for all these random christmas casual jobs. I hope they aren't too weird. The descriptions of the jobs were pretty vague. But I guess that is what interviews are for. I really need to earn some money before christmas. I'm on a strict budget now... spend a max of $5 a week. HAHA! I hope it works out. Actually I probably can't even spend that.
But anyway... I'm looking forward to December... lots of people's birthdays and Christmas! Christmas is cool because we are forced to remind ourselves that God loves us heaps!
Thats all from me today... I'll be blogging more often now.

SLR05

Just came back from Soldiers Point where we had Switch Leaders Retreat (SLR). It was an awesome time were we got to know each other better and pray about youth group, the kids and each other. Here is the gang. The place we stayed at was beautiful. It's near nelson's bay. Our place was right on the water. Me and Cler were sleeping in the lounge room which meant that we got woken up by the sunrise very early in the morning which was bad and good (isn't it pretty!). Besides having many deep and meaningfuls, we played heaps of games like citadel, bonanza and eye toy! Eye toy is such a workout! My arms and legs are sore now. I encourage you to play the game if you want a vigorous work out! kekeke. The last pic is of the switch girl leaders. Aren't we pretty!

post - WKC

Yay I can post WKC stuff now! Here is what I learned:

- Turn to God in hard times. We can use our difficulties to help others. Serve others - be compassionate. We share in Christ's suffering - that is a great privilege. We will be perfectly restored in Heaven.
- We have a fantastic message. We should want to share it. It is an urgent message. It affects everyone for eternity. It is a life saving message.
- Give glory to God because he is the one who does the work. All people are mission impossible but it is possible with Christ. Pray hard because prayer is powerful. God wants all people to know him.
- God changes people, don't give up. We need to trust that God has a greater plan to shape us into a beautiful diomond. We are not no. 1, God is. We need to acknowledge and accept it. God has a grand plan and we are part of it.
- God loves us, so we should love our fellow christians. Build them up by prayer, fellowship, love and generosity.
- We don't know how God works. Be bold - we never know how people will be changed. you have opportunities to share all day everyday.

It all makes perfect sense to me but if you have questions feel free to ask! (you know when you write something and you give it to someone and they have no idea what you are writing about... it's like that! do you get me? lol!)

the Answer!

Wow I got quite a big response to my last blog... people asking me what I worked out about the purpose of marriage... well... here is my answer.... I'm not really sure... but I think it would be cool to meet up and kinda have a discussion and read what the bible says about marriage.
I haven't really been able to think about it much recently because I just came from wkc which stands for Women's Katoomba Convention. It was really great. There were like over 1000 women in a huge tin shed singing and praising God and reading the bible and growing together which is really cool. At first it was really weird singing "And can it be" with no guys to sing the low parts... but it still sounded nice.
I learned so much! And the ironic thing is that I really want to share it with you all now but some of you will be going to WKC next week so I don't wanna spoil it for you. If you aren't going next week... call WKC!!! (www.kcc.org.au). I heard they still have tickets (and some beds) for it. [btw WKC is a christian womens conference where all these women go to katoomba for the weekend and hear God's word being preached by really cool ladies and... oh man it's just all good! If you haven't noticed I really love Katoomba and I plan to live there for a period of my life... or holiday there a lot. It just has this cool vibe and I feel like I can really get away from technology and just sit and study the bible and pray to God. WOOT!]
So I will post next week what I learned. Because we learned the best message that you could ever learn... and you all deserve to know it! Oh gosh I can't help myself:
We need to be reconciled to God. By ourselves... this is impossible! But God sent Jesus to die for us. When we admit our sins and believe in this... God forgives us! We become reconciled to God! God gives us life! We become a new creation... and will be fully restored in heaven. God is so loving and so great!
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort" - 2 Corinthians 1:3
"Whom have I in heaven but you? And being with you there is nothing I desire on earth. My flesh and my heart fail: But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever" - Psalm 73:25
"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, To Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen." Ephesians 3:20-21

dating, marriage and divorce.

I just came back from bible study. We were looking at Mark 10:1-12. I think I really needed this bible study. The passage is titled 'divorce' but as my old bible study leader told me... don't take notice of the headings. And it's a good thing too! Otherwise you would all be thinking that I'm interested in divorcing someone which is even weirder since I'm not even married.
What we looked at were the concerns of the people (in this case disciples and pharasees) and also the concerns of Jesus. What the people were interested in when they asked "is it ok to divorce" (paraphrase), was what the law said and how much they can get away with while still following the law. But Jesus looks at the heart... and tries to get them to think about the underlying purpose of marriage. Sometimes when we read the bible we think... "oh it doesn't say we can't do that in the bible so it must be ok to do it." But what is our motivation when we say things like this... we are trying to live our lives our own way while still trying to keep the 'law.' God is interested in our hearts and he wants us to have the same motivation as him when we do things. It brought up tough questions like 'why do we date?' and 'why do we get married... how does this fit into God's original intended plan?' Like I've read stuff about marriage and how it's about love and stuff and that God made man and woman to be companions, etc... but I can't help but think that it's a lot deeper than that... lol I'm prolly too young to understand!

Arts students

I was reading an article in my uni's student magazine and there was a section on stereotypes I think. Well anyway they were talking about Arts students and how they sit on the lawns all day and work at KFC. I was like O MY GOSH! IT'S TRUE! (because I sit on the lawns and work at KFC). So I handed in my two weeks notice. That's right... I'm leaving KFC.
LOL^ I'm not leaving because of the article. The truth is that my uni work load has increased dramatically. I don't even have time to sit on the lawns anymore! And I decided that this semester I want to practice my violin (and my guitar, and my percussion, and my keyboard, and my sight-singing).
Today I had my first G78 at CTHS. The girls are really sweet and nice. I'm looking forward to reading the bible with them and getting to know their interests, etc. God is so gracious that he has given us his word so that we can study it.
I've just finished preparing for switch tonight. I'm not too wrapped about tonights study. I'm not sure what the main point is. Like there are two big points but not sure what the Big Idea is (kylc people do you follow?).
That's all from me.

p.s: I wrote this fantasmical entry before about the above events but for some reason the internet was being a pain in my hip and it didn't process it through so you will now have to put up with the bodgy above. Interesting Article

I came across this interesting article.

"It is 97 per cent certain that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead - based on sheer logic and mathematics, not faith - according to Oxford professor Richard Swinburne."

The Fantastic 4:

1) I had church today. The message was on the parable of the sower. We talked about how it's not a statistic (75% reject the bible and 25% accept it) but it is a reality that many people reject the bible. I thought that it was fantastic that God has revealed himself to me and that I can follow him and receive eternal life.
2) After church today I went to castle towers to watch fantastic 4 with my jnr girls. It was an alright movie. I wouldn't see it twice though. It was fantastic being able to hang out with my girls in a non-bible-study environment and get to know them better (they are are major Harry Potter fans with one of the girls already finished reading the 6th book - ie: read it in one day).
3) I got 4 distinctions for uni! That's a distinction in all of my subjects which I'm feeling fantastic about. One bad thing though is that my dad said: "You can only get better now" and I'm not sure if i can get better... I set the standard too high! LOL!
4) The bible rocks! I've been reading it a lot more lately because conference has inspired me to become more sound in doctrine, and how else to become sound in doctrine than to read my bible and get to know it better! Here is a fantastic passage: Then the Jews demanded of him, "What miraculous sign can you show us to prove your authority to do all this?" Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days." The Jews replied, "It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?" But the temple he had spoken of was his body. After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the Scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken. -John 2:18-22.

Feeling full in many ways.

Hey there everyone!
I'm feeling really full at the moment because I had lunch of kfc just 4 hours ago and just had dinner of lasagne which is always filling. I had something interesting that I wanted to share with you all but I've forgotten what it was. How sad for us all. I decided that I won't upload a picture today because I don't want to overload my blog with very cool pictures.... otherwise when I run out of very cool pictures you will all be overly dissappointed. I hope you aren't overly dissappointed now. Emails are good. I just got an email from an old friend. It was a long email, and I replied with a long email. It made me feel good. You guys should try it some time. It's very fulfilling writing a long reply to someone. That's all from me today!

This entry is a dedication to the pens that I thought I lost but didn't. My crayola "CLICKemON" markers. They were given to me on my 16th (i think) birthday from my very very good friend Jen. I've used them alot. I mainly use them when I write birthday cards amd make wrapping paper. I like them because you can click them together and they are crayola... which means that they have very pretty colours. Recently when I was looking for them, I couldn't find them! This greatly distressed me because it meant that they could be 2 hrs away from me. Luckily they were only 2 mins away from me in my dad's ute. I intend to use them in the future. I love my pens! This is a bit of a sad entry. I'm running low on the happiness because I miss my conference buddies! Conference is the short name for ISCF Leadership Conference. I was leading at it this year. I just love the conference vibe. If you've ever been to a conference you will know what I'm talking about. Anyway the vibe basically encapsulates good bible teaching with great people and God's love. The picture is of my little group (minus Grant the other leader and Dave who left early). From left to right there is Marko-Polo, Haidee, Buffy, Josie, Liz and Pritika. At conference we looked at the book of Titus which was all about leadership. It was really challenging and I'm praying that I will be able to put what I learned into practice. Here is a challenging verse from Titus 2:11-12: For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age. From Car-O-Line

Cool verse for today:
I passed on to you what I received, which is of the greatest importance: that Christ died for our sins, as written in the scriptures; that he was buried and that he was raised to life three days later, as written in the Scriptures.
-1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (TEV).
God keeps his promises.

Once again I've been doing nothing. Well I did go to uni and did a lot of reading on the train. But as soon as I got home I turned on the tv and the computer and the rest is history. I did find this cool site. It's at www.kea.com.au . You would know them from their personalised note pads which say things like "A note from (your name)." Anyways, they have all these cool pictures you can colour in (hence the very very cute giraffe). I'll let you guys browse the site. Enjoy! Car-O-Line

Hey there all!
I'm having a study break at the moment because I don't like study and I'm bored.
Well lots of exciting stuff has been happening. I finished my 3 weeks of prac teaching last friday! I'm gonna miss all those girls. They are all so cute and funny. There was this one girl called Caroline who I will never forget, not just because her name is the same as mine but she was so sweet! I also got my P's on friday! I'm very happy. I've already driven to places by myself. I'm glad I have my P's now because that means I will probably be able to stay at parties longer because I won't need my parents to pick me up.
I've decided to write a cool bible verse in each of my blogs now... just because I've found all these really cool verses. Here is the first one, it's also my favourite bible verse:
Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands.
-Deuteronomy 7:9 (NIV).
Isn't that such a cool verse. Even though it was written so long ago, we can see how it is true today. Well that's all from me!

School Prac

I'm officially over half way through my Abbotsleigh jnr. prac! Today was a fun day. We did lots of recorder work with the little people, then I took the handbells group (I arranged a piece for them) and then I taught year 6. I'm teaching the prettiest song. It's called Wild Mountain Thyme. It's funny teaching it to primary people though because when I tell them it's a love song they go "eww! gross!"
Another eventful thing we did was teach the primary how to sing "Twist and Shout." Our lecturer had been going on and on about how they would never teach rock n roll music at Abbotsleigh so we decided to prove him wrong. The students found huge enjoyment in singing it. We had an electric guitar, drums and piano accompanying. The deputy principal came in at the end and said "Isn't it nice to have these music prac students to do something we wouldn't normally do." LOL.
Anyways, I have lots to do!

bored as a hippo

Don't you just reckon hippo's are always bored... I mean they just sit in water or walk in water and get their backs scratched by annoying birds. And when hippos are really bored... they just open their mouth and crush a living specimen in it. How sad for them.
I just came back from youth group. It's going really well now. I think it's because I'm feeling more confident and also more importantly... I'm learning from the studies myself. Yeah it's good. We had a nice long discussion about who was at the top of the food chain. We argued whether it was a lion or a human... but I reckon it is the hippo... because their mouth is so big... they can eat anything they want. They eat meat and veggies.
But now I'm home... and I just finished reading about 5 quizes from people. I wonder if they were bored when they wrote it. I'm too bored to do the quiz now though. OOOO I'll tell you a good song to listen to you when you are bored: "Something Pretty" by Patrick Park. The lyrics are so funny:
Here I am, where I’ve been
I’ve walked a hundred miles in tobacco skin,
And my clothes are worn & gritty.
And I know ugliness,
Now show me something pretty.

I was a dumb punk kid with nothing to lose
And too much weight for walking shoes.
I could have died from being boring.
As for loneliness,
She greets me every morning.

At the most I’m a glare,
I’m the hopeless son who’s hardly there.
I’m the open sign that’s always busted.
I’m the friend you need, but can’t be trusted.

Here I am, where I’ve been
I’ve walked a hundred miles in tobacco skin,
And my clothes are worn & gritty.
And I know ugliness,
Now show me something pretty.

I've bolded the funny bits. I guess it's not a very funny song when you just read the lyrics, but this funny country singer sings it. BUY THE OC SOUNDTRACK MIX 2 for really cool music.
Ahh... I'm not feeling so bored now cuz I'm listening to music. Well thats all for now.

p.s: CRAP! I have a crap essay and it's like for two crap subjects cuz I have to write about crap memory structures and also write crappy references. Plagiarism is crap! Why don't people just let everyone copy each other. Crap! Thats how we learn how to speak in the first place. We learn how to speak from copying our parents. Referencing is crap! And the fact that you can fail for forgetting to reference some things is crap. Crap is such a useful word! Crap crap crap!

Over Stress

I had my music literature test yesterday. Thank God thats over! So now I'm not as stressed, which is kinda bad, but also good because I'm actually practicing my violin and doing work for other subjects. Quick plug:
SPONSER ME! For the Malcolm Sargent Music-a-thon. Help me raise lots of money for kids with cancer. I'm hoping to do about 25 hrs so you can either pay per hour or just one big sum. Msg me!
Don't you reckon that old school games (SNES especially) were so classic! Like who can forget Street fighter 2? That was a cool game. I'm a girl and even I can play it. If any of you have a sudden urge to play it... I have it at my house. OOOoooOOO!!! I'm excited now.
I've got some more music recommendations for you today: Listen to Chopin Ballade No. 1 in G minor. This one is so pretty. And also... if you are into rich violin tones, listen to Bach Partita for unaccompanied violin in D minor.
Hmmm what else can I say?
Good afternoon, good evening and goodnight!

Hello? Is anyone out there?

Everyone has been busy busy lately. Well me at least... stupid going to uni every day and working the other days. What happened to the good ol' days when we could go to Hornsby after frisbee? I'm writing here because Jen said that I hadn't written in ages... even though my last post was only 1 month ago (1 month ago? it was that long ago?). Anyways... quick plug:
UNSW Symphony Orchestra Concert, Tues Apr 26
Sir John Clancy Auditorium UNSW
7.30 pm, Conc: $5, Adu: $10
COME AND HEAR WORKS BY SIBELIUS (not the computer program) AND HUMMEL (this one is cool!)
Talking about good music... you should all listen to Brahms Clarinet Quintet in Bm Op. 115. It's very perdy!
So what else is there to talk about? Well I've been barely surviving on a total lack of sleep... so my brain is not functioning well. (6 hrs of music... classical music overload).

Happy Happy Joy Joy

After a sad entry... I write a happy entry! I went to the easter show yesterday with Bec and Jen. It was a very fun day. Aren't old school buddies the best? As you can see... Jen got her face painted and Bec got a tiara thing. I didn't get anything special except my super duper rad push pop showbag. Also... each one of us got a bucket of fairy floss! Thats a lot of fairy floss. I had a major sugar headache afterwards. But it tasted good... so what's to complain about?
Tonight I did my first proper leading at switch. This just meant I had to read the questions and explain a couple of things. It was actually a really good study so that helped. It was on Psalm 73. If you are feeling down... you should read it! The girls were really good today as well. We also learned the psalm-ba (samba) kekeke. Tomorrow I have my ISCF conference leader meeting. Sounds like fun! I'm so glad that I'm gonna be back there. I'm also looking forward to seeing old friends (who thought I was in year 8 last year... grr!). Well... who would blame them?

*Tear*

Don't you just really miss school? I do. I mean, uni is fun, but not as fun as school. I mean, in school you have free periods. In uni, you just have free time. It's just not as fun. And the people at uni are nice, but they aren't the same as my school friends. Is it weird that I miss school? I seem to have this feeling that I'm not as close to my school friends as I used to be. I hope we can still have our fun times. We should play 500. Hmm... what other fun stuff can we do? Well uni isn't that bad. It's actually very fun. Does anybody have clothes from the 80s? Cuz I have to dress like the 80s for next monday. If anyone has any tips... please let me know.

I'm back!

Hey guys!
Don't ask me where I'm back from because I didn't really go anywhere... ie: I'm not back... argh! Now you all know my secret! Now I have to kill you all! Talking about killing...
I've been a lazy bum so I've been watching movies. I got LOTR 1 & 2... which is cool! but sucks too cuz I don't have 3. Anyways... there is a lot of killing in that film! And I've realised that Eowyn (sp?) wasn't really trying to steal Aragon from Arwen... she liked him... but knew his heart was with someone else. Really... Eowyn wanted to get her hands on some of those dirty monsters and kill them! Do you see it all now?
Continuing the killing theme... I also watched Chicago... that is a good musical. After seeing The Phantom of the Opera (which also has a killing theme) I've been wanting to watch lots of musicals... Chicago is the only musical I have on dvd... so I guess this is where all the killing ends.

p.s: I'm not a crazy girl who wants to kill people... really I'm not!

i kinda wanted to do primary ed lots but maybe God wants me to do music ed more... and it kinda makes more sense too... cuz we really need to improve on the music in church... and maybe he wants me to get involved with the youth group... and maybe he wants me to go to unsw cuz the christian group is better there than uts. Back to the past (just doesn't have the same ring to it eh?)

Hey there...
I've recently been motivated to write in my blog cuz I was reading other people's blogs and finding out lots of interesting stuff so I thought I wouldn't deprive you all and I would let you know all the interesting stuff that's been happening to me! Another factor for me writing was the whole "it's new years day and you wanna start of the new year by writing a blog" and all that pressure.
So... let's take a journey back in time... Back to last year (kekeke... had to use that joke at least once! Oh gosh I'm so sad!)
It was christmas day... 2004... And I went to church and heard a very nice message reminding us that Jesus came to the world to bring peace... nice reminder. Then I had lunch with the rellos.. then my uncle from Brisbane came and he had dinner with us... then I slept.
The next day I went to Muswellbrook to my dad's side of the family... We ate their leftovers for lunch.... then we ate their leftovers for dinner. We stayed there overnight and went to the shops there the next day... Huge sales! There were like 200 people returning their gifts at Big W. Gosh there is so much to do in the country! (btw Muswellbrook is in the country).
Don't worry... it gets better.
Then I worked on the 28th to the 31st. That's right... I worked on new years eve. (your right... that wasn't that exciting but you needed to know that so you can get excited when I tell you the other part of the puzzle).
After working on new years eve from 12-7:30 I rushed to the train station... took a train to wynyard (sp?) and went to my friends apartment which is right next to the harbour bridge (noice!). Got there just in time for 9 o'clock fireworks and then played games and watched 12 o'clock fireworks... Then I stayed for a bit and came back home at 2.15am.
Then I slept and worked today from 10.30-5. So I'm kinda buggered now. I'm young... I don't need sleep! ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!
