an ok day

today was a balance of good day and bad day... therefore it was an ok day.

this morning after dropping mum to work... i picked up jenjen and we went to castle towers. we both had 'canadian breakfast' at cafe csaba which was very very tasty. our waiter was cracking us up. he was very interested in our meal and kept on checking to see if it was good. and it was good. :) then we walked around the shops a bit. looked at build-a-bear. it's a very cool shop... so many clothes. i think i would want one of those bears... but if i get one... i'll have to keep on spending money on clothes for it... which would mean less clothes for me... but it would be oh so cute... decisions decisions. then jen got a manicure done. i would have but because of the whole violin/nails thing... i refrained. and i didn't really feel like submitting myself to polish fumes... so i walked around myself. spent about half an hour in my favourite store (priceline) and then browsed the clothes in target. i also browsed the toys in target and by the time i got to my favourite section (the crayola section) jen called to tell me her nails were done. it was funny because i had to put on her seatbelt so that her nails wouldn't be ruined.
this evening i worked in pizzacutters. it wasn't as busy a night as saturday... but still pretty busy considering it was a stinking hot day and who wants oven cooked pizzas on a stinking hot day? (rich people of the north shore apparently). so i was pretty much moving around. and there was a whole lot of washing up! by about 8, the lady working with me left and it was just me on salads, dessert pizzas, counter and washing up. salads are quite annoying to make... and lots of people wanted salads (understandable). so yeah... washed till 10:20 and then mopped the floor till 10:35. my boss is a stickler for clean floors (which is good i guess). then i was free to go... and i got a free cheese pizza... which i've already eaten a piece of (at 11:30pm! bad me!). so work wasn't that bad... just washing was bad. i think i'm getting used to the place and i'm finding out where everthing is which makes it easier.

tomorrow... handbells practice (*sarcastic woot*) and bible study (*excited woot*)
